Provenance – a products origin – is important to the makers of balsamics. Like a french champagne, or a piece of parmigiano from Regiono, balsamic vinegar from the Modena area are much imitated but rarely equalled, and ours comes with the important “I.G.P” certification: the “protected Geographical Indication label issued by Italy’s agriculture ministry to prove its provenance.
Our Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is a great multi tasking condiment for any kitchen; perfect for antipasti, for drizzling across salads and bite-sized chunks of hard Italian cheeses, for serving with our olive oils, and for simply dipping with artisanal breads.
