150ml Makers & Merchants Mulled Cider Syrup
75g / half a pack of Makers & Merchants Toffee Apple Brilliant Biscuits
2 tbs Vin Santo, Amaretto or alcohol of your choice
Whipped cream to serve
Oven: 200C / 400F / Gas 6
Cut each plum in half and scoop out the stone. This will leave a dipped cavity for the topping and syrupy sauce.
Put each half, cut side facing up, in a baking dish. The snugger they fit the better.
Put the biscuits into a freezer bag and crush to a crumb, leaving some larger bits. Sprinkle over and around the plums making sure each plum cavity is full.
Using half the butter dot each plum with a blob of butter and add the rest around the plums. Gently pour the Makers & Merchants Mulled Cider Syrup over and around the plums. Gently pour the alcohol around the plums.
Cook for 15 minutes. Add approx 80ml of hot water around the plums. Bake for another 15 minutes until crispy on top. Remove from the oven.
Serve with whipped cream or ice-cream and crumble over extra biscuits if desired.
Eat warm or cold. Great for breakfast...!
