A drinking vessel fit for a Roman banquet
Designed by Giorgio Bonaguro, this Roma Carafe an incredible glass vessel is inspired, as the name suggests, by ancient Roman amphoras used to store wine, water and oil.
In both ancient Greek and Roman cultures drinking was an important central focus of entertaining, with dining experiences both at home and in public impressing guests with feasts for the senses. Public feasts, dinner and drinking parties would use vessels shaped such as these.
Made from light-weight borosilicate glass these look good in the kitchen with oil, on the dining table holding water or wine or beautiful as a decorative vase or decorative object.
Also available as Roma Carafe short neck
