Care

Before using this product for the first time wash in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. Suitable for the oven and all hobs, these pots can support temperatures up to 260°C. During cooking the handles can become very hot. Always use oven gloves. Avoid the use of metal tools. Always place a hot pan on a protective surface. This cookware is suitable for the dishwasher, however to maintain its character wash by hand. Never immerse in cold water. For any stubborn residue soak for a few minutes in warm soapy water. For stubborn remains use a wooden implement to help remove residue. Always dry the pan well. The top edge is not enamelled and should be greased regularly with vegetable oil to offer additional protection. Keep out of the reach of children.

The enamelled glazing allows the pots to be cleaned easily, the glazed base makes them suitable for all cooking surfaces and the cast iron withstands the highest temperatures and retains  heat for a long time. Allowing for slow cooking, the flavours mingle, and the clever design of the lid keeps food moist whilst cooking, reducing the risk of food drying out.
